Yeah sorry Darby... I just don't enjoy watching him lumbering around the football field... and having the occasional 40 yarder that thunders 20 foot over the bar... think we are little bit better than that... actually surprised he ain't in Dubai... he normally is this time of the year...

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
As Chich was subbed my brother said 'keep your eye on him as he walks past Pellegrini' so I did, Pellegrini put his hand out to shake and Chich completely blanked him, walking back to the bench with a face like a smacked arse.

That kid doesn't like not playing, that's for sure.

Soldo, I'd imagine that how most people feel when listening to you talk about Carroll.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
Perez layed on his first chance, put him through and keeper blocked it

Al Carroll did was fall over and a get a free kick that lead to the second goal, does that count as an assist haha

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
He could have had three on Sat. Plays Well with 2 up. Him and Carroll should on paper be ideal with Carroll causing mayhem and Chicharito feeding on the scraps. Worth a go against fulham.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
Carroll and Chich might not be ideal, but it's probably as good as we're going to get with Arnie out.

Hernandez can't lead the line and Big Andy can cause chaos and draw defenders away from the Chich.

Agreed. We would be mad to sell him now. Just as we have got him doing what he should be doing.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
If you are a mid-table team with higher aspirations that is playing in a way that often requires a lot of goals to win game and often plays with two strikers, I am not sure why you would not want him starting regularly.

His goal was clever. Stood on the end of the wall, waited for the sound of the ball being kicked, then turned and headed for goal.

No-one could leave the wall, so he was on his own in front of goal, onside.

If A8 and NR fancied the same bloke, surely his fate wouldn't be decided by a bitch fight - wouldn't he get a say?

Would be a much better player if he cut out the diving and falling over.

Not very accepting of people's aesthetic preference for one who has defended some very harmful proclivities in the past.

You and I appear to have completely different taste in men, A8. This is good, because we won't end up in an eye scratching bitchfight.

I'm pleased for him. A 451 isn't right for him but in a 442 he will nick goals. He reminds me of TC. I really hope he stays. Mind you I am biased as 1) I love me a 442 and 2) I'd bang him six ways to Sunday. He's fit.

If we get a good offer, we should consider, but then the same would go for any player 30+

Obviously dependent on our ability to reinvest.

Great strikers poacher goal that, anticipation while Palace defence were asleep. That's what he does and why he's worth a berth
